Our studio apartment in Kailua was very nice. The bed was super comfy (although the pillows were awful). There was a flat screen TV and full kitchen. The w/d were right next door (literally, maybe 20 feet from our door) and were included. There was a small lanai that was always in the shade so always a comfortable place to sit and read and drink coffee. One wall of the apartment was all windows, including 2 sliding glass doors.

Polynesian Cultural Center was great, the food was so so, neither Ron nor I would pay to eat there again. But the various island exhibits were entertaining and the evening show was terrific. Each island was represented, each showed off their native dance. The fire dancers were the best we've ever seen.

rubbing two sticks together to make fire how hard could it be!!
